This 2-week summer school explores the urban and suburban landscapes of Athens, navigating between industrial towns, farming lands, and sites of ancient Eleusinian mysteries. Mapping land use, past and present, and translating findings into artistic/activist expressions, visible fields and hidden effects on human and other-than-human life will be revealed.

In this interdisciplinary course students from various disciplinary backgrounds get the chance to collaborate and create a performance across remote stages in hub locations (Zurich, Singapore, Taipei). Students will explore the aesthetics, narratives, and cultural dimensions of telematic immersive performance-making through learning techniques in staging, scoring, improvisation, and performance art.
