Israel Martínez (Guadalajara, Mexico. 1979) works from listening towards sound and visual arts, often influenced by literature, producing works materialized in multichannel audio installations, video, photography, actions and text, trying to generate critical reflections and explore some aesthetic and social possibilities of silence. His diverse work has been presented mainly in Mexico and Europe since 2003.
