As a recipient of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation Mainland Visiting Scholars Program, scholar and artist Cao Shu [China Academy of Art] in collaboration with Peter Nelson (HKBU) will host a workshop for students. Using HKBU's new 360 cinema as a setting and apparatus, the seminar (23rd January 9.30am - 1.30pm) and workshop will examine the theme of 'Real Time Worlds' by inviting artists who use 3D computer graphics and various forms of world-building in their practice to present their work. Special guest speakers will include artists Vvzela Kook and Royce NG and postdoctoral researcher Lukasz Mirocha.
