My teaching philosophy is predicated on the idea of the fundamental equality between the teacher and student, rather than a top-down, hierarchical pedagogical model based on the one- way inculcation of ideas and knowledge. I see teaching as a collaborative process of learning between the teacher and the student, with the circular and reciprocal balance between experience and youth creating a dynamic, positive feedback loop which benefits both sides.
