This talk will share the four-year development of a young artist, Ng Ka Ho’s ceramics art and life in Japan.
In 2014, after one year graduated from BA (Hons) in Visual Arts programme, Ng Ka Ho decided to go to Japan and studied the master degree program of ceramics and mixed media in Kyoto for 2 years. How this four-year experience changed his art practice? How was his art practise environment changed after his graduation? This sharing can be one of the references for the students who want to study art in Japan.

Born in Hong Kong in 1990. Graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University, Bachelor degree of Visual Arts, Academy of Visual arts.
Graduated from the master degree of mixed media, Kyoto University of Arts and Design, Ng Ka Ho received excellence award in Graduation Exhibition (MA) of Kyoto University of Arts and Design. He participated in a five-month residency programme in Shigaraki Cultural Park in 2018, and take part in Biwako Biennale 2018. Recently, he was selected as one of the international artists to participate in Gyeonggi International Ceramics Biennale 2019.
