Weight Watchers: International Art Moves (IAM) Workshop
To watch weights, movements, developments on an international, political and social level.
DESCRIPTION HOW TO APPLY?

To watch weights, movements, developments on an international, political and social level. To see balances and monopols between governments, societies, single people. And the question, what are Arts able to reflect, to move, to change. Are Arts able at all to change something. Do artists have responsibility for society and if so, how do they deal with it in different cultures. And of course “Weight Watchers” is also an ironic hint to the ego-manic body movement.

In the latest IAM workshop, visiting lecturers Martin Müller and Anne Müller will mentor students to curate an international visual arts exhibition that is happening at “Kunstquartier Bethanien” in Berlin in January 2018. 5 out of the 20 students will be nominated after the workshop to participate in the setup of the exhibition.

Please send your CV and a portfolio containing 3 best pieces of work to Mr. Kevin Law (kevinlaw@hkbu.edu.hk) by 30 June 2017. Successful applicants will be informed in due course.
