Touching Hear and Hearing It
Target students: AVA students from the following courses [VART3386 Studio Media Arts: Audio-visual Art Practices]
A lecture by Rie NAKAJIMA with a short performance (1 hour) and a workshop (3 hours).
Please bring a sound with you.
'The sound' can be any form. It could be an object, yourself, things from nature, movements, something you found by relating to a part of architecture, or something you find in the room.
Please avoid bringing sounds generated by speakers and also mobile phones as much as possible.
After presenting each other's sounds, we will work in groups and experience of making sounds together with what we brought, and also with new sounds found at site.
In the end of the workshop, we will present the sounds we worked during the workshop.
