In 1919 the progressive Bauhaus art school opened its doors to men and women, declaring equality amongst the sexes. However, the emancipatory optimism of many young women at the Bauhaus was soon curbed… Female art scholars, artists, curators and art managers discuss the conditions women find in the art world today.
