Sojourners of the World Artists Curator VISITOR REGISTRATION
Sojourners are temporary residents of a place. They roams effortlessly between places, and they take on different identities from time to time. As the exiles, adventurers, and lost souls of the world, sojourners have their own stories to tell.
Drawing upon the figure of a sojourner, the exhibition “Sojourners of the World” brings together recent works by Mindy Lui and Shawn Tang to explore the themes of mobility, displacement, and nomadism. Reflecting upon the current global social realities, the exhibition seeks to present pluralistic viewpoints in thinking about the complex relationship between locality and idea of belonging.
