The Anti-National Education Movement in 2012 has opened the door of political participation for the younger generation. At the same time, it has also inspired a group of artists to use comics to respond to the society since then. They use the internet and social media as the platform to develop their own comics language. Over the years, Cuson Lo, Ah To, Kit Man and Baak Shui have established a huge fanbase among the youngsters and their works have played a prominent role in shaping their political view. This talk aims to share their views on the development of online political cartoons in the past ten years and the impacts their works have brought to various social movements or events.

KITMAN
Kitman is a middle aged man in his fortysomething. Full of hatred of unrighteousness. He works as a software developer in multimedia production and has developed a local font 勁揪體 by crowdfunding in 2016. His first solo exhibition was held in 2018.
Arto 阿塗
Post-80s youth, active member of Hong Kong Golden Forum and a memes creator. Arto is the creator of "Golden’s Mythical Beast" card game; author of "Primary School Chick’s Riddle", "Brown Country Good Dog" and "Diulasing! Hit the Hard! ".
Baak Sui 白水
Baak Sui is passionate about a lot of things. His comics express his unique points of views on public issues. He has been creating the comic series BOILING FROG DIARY on the internet since 2011. His comics have been published in newspapers, magazines and social media since 2012. He published 4 comic books and currently publishing weekly on The News Lens.
Cuson 咳神
Also known as Uncle Odd, who has fair skin and behaviour unlikes his age. Cuson wishes to take the cute style. Now working as a freelance illustrator, cartoonist. Former cartoonist in newspaper am730. He has been active in the online world in recent years, and has published many books since 2010.
