Visual language is a creative communication method and tool to achieve the purpose of narration; the creative content or form of visual language is the production of visual culture; in addition to the skills and content of visual arts creation, local visual or material culture are also the research topics and directions. AVA's interconnected series of talks allow local and diverse visual culture talents to personally communicate with the audience their creative experiences and achievements. Creation can be very down to earth.
Ngai Wing Lam is a Studio Artist - Colourist Specialist, taking care of around hundred wax figures everyday. Keeping them update and alive from hair to props.
How to balance between restoration, maintenance and restyling?
Ngai Wing Lam graduated from AVA in 2008. She is working in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong as a Studio Artist – Colourist Specialist. As a painter, she also works with projects about restoration and colouring. Her work is featured in the recent Asia Art Archive (AAA) fundraising auction. She also participated in the art mural project “I Will Always Be On Your Side” by fellow artist Chan Wai Lap, commissioned by Tai Kwun Contemporary.
