Corners as the Shape of a House
A house comprises various spaces, each with its own components: objects, scents, temperatures, and people. These components carry different stories and construct memories within the house.
Corners define the boundaries of those spaces, and beyond the boundaries, another shape is carved out. If the definition of the boundaries is lost, the stories will drift aimlessly, losing their significance. Yet corners have never been considered crucial, but they silently preserve the details of the stories at specific points in time.
Seven artists contemplate the nature of corners and how we relate to our awareness and thoughts about life. We attempt to reorganize the disparate parts of our lives, gathering fragments of our daily observations, recalling the subtle emotions buried deep within, and embracing each shape.
