Academy of Visual Arts is happy to welcome Ms Sabrina Batiz, Senior Digital Product and Strategy Development at ZKG, Hong Kong, to give a CCL talk on her career trajectory through textiles, fashion and 3D graphics, and to offer an overview of the opportunities currently available to the next generation of 3D artists, relative to concepts such as augmented reality, digital wearables and the metaverse. We encourage participation from any staff and students who are interested in the fascinating overlaps of apparel, 3D graphics and art to attend.
Sabrina Batiz is an apparel innovation strategist passionate about implementing circular and sustainable solutions through design, development, and production processes. Through her work in 3D graphics and motion media, she explores solutions to reduce resource dependency in the garment sample making and sales process, and new applications for 3D apparel.

*The talk is CCL accredited for HKBU students. An evaluation form will be e-mailed to the participated students after the talk. Please note that the CCL unit will only be given to those students who have registered the event and submitted with a completed evaluation form by 14 Feb 2022 (Mon) and using the HKBU email address.
