HKBU AVA BA Graduation Show 2022
The 2022 HKBU AVA BA Graduation Show sails the Ship of Theseus, guiding our graduates through the turbulent seas to find their coast.

Making is remaking. The tempering of thought and refinement of imagination. Ideas combine to make an alloy of the old and new. We take it apart, put it back together, only to take it apart again. In the hundreds of iterations, are we holding onto anything?

Bridging the virtual and the real, our graduates sketch their blueprints. In the abandoned, assimilated, and inexpressible,  each graduate's ship is forged.

The exhibition presents works by 118 graduates, showcasing the creativity and endeavours of the students.

In 2022, we have 16 awards to present to outstanding students whose practices embody various art forms and artmaking spirits. We have invited 5 professional judges from different fields in the art industry to select winners of the sponsored awards.

Works are installed at different locations of the Kai Tak Campus – the former Royal Air Force (RAF) Officers’ Mess – which was transformed into a platform where the students’ art talents shine.
