The Jewellery Design Studio located on the third floor of Communication and Visual Arts Building (CVA), has 20 personal workbenches, and a large common area for idea sharing. It is a place where students turn their creative ideas into body-related objects. Through the manipulations of non-ferrus metals, students practise the creative process, using jewellery’s familiar traditional and contemporary values. The goal is to help them develop their own set of personal value system.
The Studio is also equipped with tools for several areas of silversmithing, from manipulation of raw materials, to fabrication, casting, enameling.
