The Graphic Arts Studio, located on the fourth floor of the Communication and Visual Arts Building (CVA), is specifically designed for the needs and requirements of classes in the ‘graphic book’ cluster, such as Illustration, Typography, Book design as well as other subjects related to Graphic Design.
Large multi-functional tables can transform from individual work areas such as for sketching, to group space for work and discussions, or computer workstations – each table unit offers multiple electricity sockets. Additional tables offer integrated light boxes, printing facilities, and book binding equipment. Cabinets neatly store reference work and there is also an abundance of wall space to review student work.
Last but not least, the Studio is adjacent to two computer labs, guaranteeing smooth access should a software demonstration be needed or if other facilities at the lab are required.
