BIOGRAPHY
Cho Yeou Jui (Y.J.CHO) born in Taiwan,received her BFA from National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. She is the first using slide projector in painting. Her "Banana Series" astonished the conservative society in 1970s. Later studied in USA and received her MA from State University of New York at Albany. Since 1977, Ms. Cho lived in the Soho, New York City as a professional artist, and showed at OK Harris gallery from 1986 until now. She has held 18 major solo-art exhibitions and 70 more group shows at U.S. and Asia. She taught at National Changhuan Normal University in 1995 and Taitung Teachers College in 2000 and now is teaching in the Academy of Visual Arts, HKBU as Assistant Professor. In 2005, she received Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Her works are included in Hong Kong, Taiwan, U.S. museum and private collections.
