The exhibition concept originates from the Chinese vocabulary “SPACE”- “空間”. By extracting some Chinese word elements within the words, we restructure to form a new vocabulary “Yut Mun”(穴門)” to define our understanding of “SPACE” through this exhibition. With the application of a variety of materials and media in artworks, the audience will be taken to explore the new definition of “SPACE” in various perspectives.

The FIVE HKBU MVA graduate artists practise the form of arts in installation and new media in attempting to overturn the embedded concept about “SPACE” in general and rewrite a novel description of “SPACE” – the rethinking of the relationship between HUMAN and SPACE. In the exploration of the campus (somewhere we were acquainted with), this exhibition tries to interact with the environment and provide a platform for the audience to re-define an exhibition space, in the SPACE that we created with the individual, social and global aspects.
